NOTAN ZINE, 2022
A short zine of my old homework! I took a Color & Lighting and class online (it was a lot of fun), and did a number of notan exercises. Notan, as it was explained to me, is a design style that contemplates the placement of light/dark in your image at its most stripped-down composition. Maybe Wikipedia will be better at explaining it.
After the course, I didn’t want to just bury these images on my computer, as I am quite fond of them, so I made a brief collection. If anybody has a more clever name for this zine, please please let me know--people are asking why the googly eyes, if it has anything to with Everything, Everywhere All At Once, but it doesn’t, I just like googly eyes.
