Laurel Sardiñas
Former historian, now Taos-based artist using art and zines to keep track of my fears, interests, and fantasies. I enjoy taking on projects of all sorts, from newsletters to customizing Pulaskis, and connecting with creative and unique endeavours.
So far, I have had the pleasure of tabling at the Las Vegas New Mexico Zine Fest (2023, 2024), Albuquerque Zine Fest (2022), Santa Fe Zine Fest (2022), San Fernando Valley Zine Fest (2021), Los Angeles Zine Fest (canceled 2020), and the Chinese American Museum Nite Light Summer Mixer (2019).
This year, I organized the first Taos Zine Fest (2023)! More about that here.
Some work published in the University of New Mexico’s art and literary journal: Howl: The Voice of UNM-Taos (2023).
Lately: expanding my sticker empire.
“Charmingly salty.” - former classmate
“Very 3-D face.” - freshman year roommate’s mom
“Small ears.” - guy who pierced my ears
